Background
I am Mrs. Shelly, creator of Ready Set Prep. I have my Master in the Art of Teaching, and teaching credential in the State of California. I have my Bachelors degree in Theater Arts and Dance, and Associates degrees in Fashion Design and Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
I am a mom of 6. Yes, they are all mine. I have had the privilege of watching them learn and grow.
I have experience teaching Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten for several years. I have many years teaching dance to students from preschool to adults. I know what children need to know going into school as a TK or Kindergarten student. I have created resources to teach your child Kindergarten readiness skills. These resources can be used for children who are struggling with phonological awareness and one to one correspondence, and more. Homeschoolers can enjoy this resource too. I am passionate about getting children ready to learn when entering school so they can have a strong foundation and the most successful start to their education.
